The rug features a beautiful eight folded central medallion, with a translucent red background against a shimmering night blue and green floral motifs and it contains borders with sophisticated arabesque patterns in the garden. This carpet has a strong welcoming flavour for guests and friendships. Her name is driven from the root < ش ه د > meaning observer. The rug measures 380 x 280 cm (12’5”x9’2”) and was woven in the late 1980s.
