$1,250.00 AUD

ILUKA

Woven in mid 20th century, this rug from Ghazvin is an exotic rug in our tribal collection. Tribal rugs are woven in small villages and are often symbolic. The Diamond with two arrowhead symbol is often associated with strength, power, and perfection. And the arrow represents movement, direction, or change.

Combination of orange and black evoke a variety of feelings, depending on the context. Orange been the main colour of the central medallion is a warm and vibrant colour that is often associated with energy, excitement, and creativity. With the contrast of black, that is a dark and mysterious, can also be associated with power and sophistication. Together, orange and black can create a sense of excitement and dynamism.

This rug's name is driven from Aboriginal tongue meaning ‘near the sea’ in the Bndajalong language. This Persian carpet reminds us and connects our being to the joyful moments of our life and surroundings.

All photos are taken in natural, filtered light and only very modestly edit photos. Please be aware that colours may vary slightly depending on the device you are viewing it on.
