Hammal
This kilim is a flat-weave of Kurdish work from the northwest region. The abrash and lazy lines in the green ground create depth and interest in expansion of plain colour. The kilim rug is made from sheep wool on cotton foundation and features flowers blooming. The kilim is 208 x 145 cm in size and is approximately woven in early 1970's.
The kilim is in very good condition for its age. The main colours are moss green and teal abrash field, maroon and pink.
