Woven in mid 19's century this semi antique rug from Azarbayjan is one of the best of it’s kind.

Nomads of Persia are the wonderers of the mountains and the land. Their style of weave is more intuitive, as if a conduit from the heart. With a strong culture steeped in community and music, they carry their rugs from place to place.

Her name is driven from nordic mythology. Embla was known to be the first women rising. This semi antique rug has two Cypress trees coming out from its centre and reminds us of the female power inside us rising from our centre of being.
