This is a beautiful hand-woven pure wool Seneh kilim from west Persia, Kurdistan. The rug is made from soft sheep wool and features a traditional geometric Mahi design. The runner is 360 x 86 cm in size and is approximately 50 years old. The kilim is made with vegetable dyes, which give it a rich and natural colour.
The rug is in good condition for its age. There are some colour imperfections that only add to the rug's character. It is also slightly uneven, which is a common characteristic of hand-woven rugs.
