HODA

This hand-woven pure wool Nomadic rug from southern Persia is a perfect example of the region's renowned rug-making tradition. The rug features a raw, shimmery maroon, navy blue, forest green and mustard colour palette, with a 3-medallion geometry pattern that tells a story of balance and expression. This rug highly collectible for its size, design, and weave.

HODA, meaning the right guidance, reminds us to cultivate our deeper selves. Two sets of forests are protecting the heart symbolically demonstrated by the flower vase. The rug measures 323 x 115 cm (10'7" x 3'9") and was woven in the late 1950s. It is made from pure soft sheep wool and has been dyed with vegetable dyes.
