This hand-woven pure wool Nomadic rug from northern Persia is a perfect example of the region's renowned rug-making tradition. The rug features a raw maroon, sky blue, pink and shades of red colour palette, with a central medallion and crown geometry pattern that tells a story of balance and expression.
Roshan meaning light reminds us of all things around us that can shine. The rug measures 205 x 115 cm (6'8" x 3'9") and was woven in the late 1970s. It is made from pure soft sheep wool and has been dyed with vegetable dyes.
