MATIN is an intricate hand-knotted wool Persian rug from central Persia, Kashan.
The motif of this rug is based on a beautiful eight folded central medallion. The background is a translucent white chocolate against a shimmering night blue, brick orange and light blue floral motifs and boarders with sophisticated arabesque patterns in the garden. This carpet has a strong welcoming flavour for guests and friendships.
Her name is driven from the root <م ت ن > meaning the firm and solid.
