This intricate hand-knotted town Persian rug from south Persia, Bakhtiyari tribes, is a stunning piece of art that will add beauty and elegance to any home. The rug is made of 100% pure wool and features a beautiful eight-folded octagon central medallion with opening design of Khamseh. The background is a translucent sage green against a copper red, sky blue, light blue and golden motifs and borders with sophisticated arabesque patterns in the garden. The name KHALEGH is derived from the Persian word which means "the creator and the master". This rug is a perfect way to add a touch of luxury and sophistication to your home.

The rug measures 293 x 208 cm (9'7" x 6'9") and was woven in the late 1960s. It is in excellent condition.
