This intricate hand-knotted town Persian rug from south Persia, Bakhtiyari tribes, is a stunning piece of art that will add beauty and elegance to any home. The rug is made of 100% pure wool and features a beautiful eight-folded octagon central medallion with opening design of Khamseh. The background is a translucent sage green against a copper red, sky blue, light blue and golden motifs and borders with sophisticated arabesque patterns in the garden. The rug measures 293 x 208 cm (9'7" x 6'9") and was woven in the late 1960s. It is in excellent condition.
