This is a hand-woven pure wool Persian kilim from Kurdish tribes of Northwest Persia. 

Tribes of west Persia are simple people, close to the nature and they come in small groups. Their style of weave is more earthy, as if a conduit from the Mother Earth essence. With a strong culture steeped in community and music, they carry their way of life through weaving rugs and kilims.

Her name is driven from old Turkish tradition. Hiranur is the light of the diamond symbol of always following the light in our life. Brings forth right intentions in ones work.
