This is a hand-woven pure wool Persian kilim from North Persia, rural districts of Azarbaijan Province.
Some of the tribes of North Persia are simple people, close to the nature and they come in small groups. Their style of weave is more earthy, as if a conduit from the Mother Earth essence. With a strong culture steeped in community and music, they carry their way of life through weaving rugs and kilims.
Her name is driven from old Turkish tradition. Feriha with her bright reds, azure blue and three full diamond medallion gifts you with joy and tenderness in home. She will enchant a living space.
